Big John derricks remain loaded at all times for immediate response.
The crew is working inside a Utilco designed rolling cage to give freedom of movement. After lining up the just delivered panel, the derrick will return to shore to repeat the process.
Utilco's 150 ton Mantis is shown backing out on a trestle carrying a track panel to restore rail service. Notice in the second picture the derrick has a Utilco designed and patented rolling outrigger that allows transport of up to 80,000 lbs. on the hook.
Utilco's Crew Support Unit is on standby 24/7, equipped and ready to respond to any emergency.
